Mi chiamo Salvatore Avantaggiato, sono un Senior Industrial Designer con oltre 40 anni di esperienza nel settore automotive e industriale.
Ho collaborato con marchi come Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, MV Agusta, occupandomi di design estetico, progettazione tecnica, industrializzazione e prototipazione.
Nel corso della mia carriera ho seguito l'intero ciclo di sviluppo prodotto:
- dalla definizione del concept
- alla progettazione CAD
- fino alla realizzazione di stampi e validazione produttiva.
Oggi sono fondatore di PROTOidee, una mia iniziativa indipendente nata per sviluppare e brevettare soluzioni innovative per la mobilità urbana e la protezione dei veicoli.

My name is Salvatore Avantaggiato, and I am a Senior Industrial Designer with over 40 years of experience in the automotive and industrial sectors.
I have collaborated with prestigious brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, and MV Agusta, contributing to both design and engineering phases.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across the full product development cycle:

– all the way to tooling, prototyping, and industrial validation.

TWOinONE
Veicolo pieghevole urbano
(concept in evoluzione)
Il progetto TWOinONE è nato come monopattino elettrico urbano con ruote di diverso diametro (20"/16"), con telaio pieghevole e assetto stabile.
Ha ottenuto concessione del brevetto europeo, ma nel luglio 2025 ho deciso di non rinnovarne la protezione, per ragioni di strategia commerciale, viste le mutate condizioni di mercato.
Oggi il progetto è in fase di revisione totale: sto sviluppando la versione 2.0, che non sarà più un monopattino, ma un veicolo pieghevole urbano di nuova generazione, ispirato alla stessa filosofia di compattezza, trasportabilità e design tecnico essenziale.
Urban folding vehicle
(evolving concept)
The TWOinONE™ project was originally conceived as an electric urban scooter with wheels of different diameters (20"/16"), featuring a folding frame and stable geometry.
It was granted a European patent, but in July 2025, I made the decision not to renew the protection, due to strategic considerations following the downturn in the e-scooter market.
Today, the project is undergoing a complete redesign: I’m developing version 2.0, which will no longer be a scooter, but a new-generation urban folding vehicle, inspired by the same principles of compactness, portability and essential technical design.
